VACATION STATION: Direct to Film Transfers

It’s cold, it’s dark by 5:00 PM and I don’t want to say the S word but I will… Seasonal Depression… there I said it! In the wake of the most “wonderful time of the year”, we find ourselves pale and constantly putting on moisturizing lotion, awaiting the summer season. So what better way to exploit the musings of warm weather than the American Print Consultants Vacation Station Decorative Apparel Series? 

In this demonstration, we are creating and executing three variations of DTF transfer applications from “soup to nuts”. In addition to a few other key pieces of tech, we are using the unmatched Filmjet from Polyprint. It’s a lot of machine and we only scratched the surface of its capabilities during this video. Have a look while we navigate through the design and RIP software, see the Filmjet in action and press Hot Peel Transfer Paper to the three commonly marketed garments. First a beach bag, second a T-shirt and third a Bucket hat… all APC branded, of course.
